The campground has it's pros and cons. We had a medium tent and since we were the only ones with a tent, when we arrived, we could put it on the only even spot in the tent area. The rest is rather sloping.
The sandy ground is ideal when it pours, it never was muddy.
There is only a very small shop 500m away, and a few pubs and restaurants.
Facilities were sparkling, the showers were nice and warm, the staff very friendly and helpful. In the kitchen there is a table and three cooking facilities. No pots or pans or other cooking devices.
I found the price a bit high. 2 persons with one medium tent and a car cost 20 Eur. Same tent with only one person and no car ist still 19 Eur. Showers (5 min), cooking (20 min), washing mashine and dryer (30 min), internet (20 min) each cost 1 EUR.
WLAN would be nice.
With a tent you have to go to the reception every morning an pay for another day. The reason seems to be, that campers sometimes leave earlier than intended because of the strong winds that can blow there and the campground is quite exposed.

Temps de relaxation à Rosses Point

Quand j'ai dormi dans le camping, il était très calme et relaxante, mais je pense que lorsque les écoles ferment pour les mois d'été, il serait un peu plus de monde et noisey. Les douches et les toilettes sont impeccablement propres et la douche, l'eau a été juste! (Je trouve parfois que l'eau est soit trop chaude ou trop froide, dans certains campings). Il ya de belles promenades le long du front de mer et sur la plage. La plage elle-même était propre et libre de déchets et il semble y avoir deux types de contrôle de ces zones par jour. Pour tous ceux qui s'intéressent aux sports aquatiques, il est un lieu idéal pour la planche à voile et le kayak. Le seul défaut, je trouve que le village est le manque de commerces de base comme la viande fraîche et de produits d'épicerie générale. Il ya un magasin, mais la sélection n'a pas été grande. Et sur le terrain de camping lui-même, l'aire de jeux pour enfants n'ont pas l'air alléchant. Cependant, je n'ai pas de jeunes enfants et je voudrais donc y retourner.
